The day I cut the wrong pane

You wouldn’t believe what happened last week on the job. I cut a beautiful pane for a bathroom shower only to realize it was for a threaded frame instead of the framed one we were installing. Talk about a real ‘glass half empty’ situation! At least I had a good laugh about it while waiting for the right piece to arrive.

I’ve done that too! Last month, I cut a pane for a kitchen before realizing it had to fit a different frame style. It was a hassle waiting for the correct one, so now I always double-check the specs before cutting — definitely saves time and headaches later.
