Importance of proper sealing in installations

I’ve worked on various projects where the sealing process made or broke the installation. Just last month, a small oversight led to a significant delay because the glass wouldn’t hold due to improper sealing. How does everyone ensure they get the sealing just right?

I totally get that — > the glass wouldn’t hold due to improper sealing… In my experience, using a high-quality silicone sealant has saved us from a lot of headaches. How do you guys handle the curing time to make sure it sets properly?

Improper sealing really drives me nuts too! I’ve found that sticking to a specific brand of sealant helps maintain consistency, especially if you’re working under time constraints, like on last month’s project. Have you ever tried using a primer before applying sealant?
